Once we found a parking spot (not too easy and not too cheap), we set out to tour the Parliament Building grounds
There are wonderful views from all sides of the Parliament Building as well as the back of it. Recommend you walk around before jumping into the interior tour.
The Canadian Social System at work here; the Government has built a house on Parliament Hill for the squirels. I wonder if they have a social security number now that they have a permanent residence and get fed by the state. Now this really is Canadian.
- Pros:interesting museums, cozy streets, parks everywhere, nice boating trips, and skating in winter

Extremely good views of the canal and the river and relaxing. Can be as interesting as the interior tour. You can see... more travel advice
