My uncle was a painter; He settled in Norway, fell in love twice: He remained very close to his first Norweigan wife Grunnel and his second wife Solveig was good friends with her as well. Wendesday nights, we had dinner at Grunnel's and Friday nights at Solveigs. Occassionally, we rented a cottage in the countryside and vacationed all together: Here I am in my younger days with my Uncle, his wife and my girlfriend Gerd.

Ski Vacation near Lillihamer

There used to be Club on the pier along the harbour; great bands, a small kamara theatre. I used to help in the theatre with the youth theatre; once I even acted in a piece by Jean Cocteau, "the Lover" - my part was a silent part, all I had to do is take my cues and then make appropriate movements. I met some very good friends there, we vacationed here in a cottage in Lillihammer - Sigmund, Hilda and her children.

The Club organized a youth theatre. We created some "happennings" - one that I remember was a maze structure that people passed through not knowing what suprises awaited them. It was fun.
