I was 10 years old when in Hungary the people decided to have a revolution. It failed without international support. My parents decided to move; we went to Vienna and then Amsterdam and then onto Montreal. Since then I have lived mostly in Canada with many years in each of the following : Norway (3yrs), France(2yrs), Israel (3yrs) England(12yrs), Hungary (5yrs), U.S.A (2yrs), and Switzerland (3yrs)

Natural Thermal Spa at Cegled

I grew up here: a city of many nations, people from all over the world, Italy, Poland, France, Ireland, England,Jamaica, China, Greece, Vietnam, Pakistan, India, etc etc etc. Two major events here, International Expo in 1967 and Olympic Games in 1976 both attracted world attention to the city. Annual Jazz Festival in the summer further added to the reputation of Montreal as a place to live and or visit.

Budapest and Hungary

In 1996, I decided its time to live a while in Budapest and in Hungary. Here I found the following as the best things to do: Visit the Health and Thermal Spas. 2. Massages 3. Good Food and Wine. 4. Gorgeous Architecture and old cities 5. Inexpensive Dental Treatments 6. Good and varied Entertainement, Art Galleries, Opera, Theaters, Concerts.7. Irrisistable Pastry Shops.
Things I found to avoid: 1. The dog *** on the streets 2. Picpockets, money exchangers, thieves etc on all public transport, trains, subway, trams, buses and in the main tourist spots 3. Lawyers (with one notable exception) 4. Corrupt Police Officers 5. Doing Business unless I had a year to research both the people and the market.
