| | We visited Fuessen in 2004 and were lucky to revisit this splendid town in Bavaria one more time in 2005.
Fuessen is a small ancient town in the Bavarian Alps, nearby to the border with Austria. Founded by Romans, Fuessen was rich trading city in middle Ages and in Renaissance.
Natural medical dirts, mineral water sources, cleanliness of mountain air, beauty of an environment, and also well equipped sanatoria and well arranged hotels have provided recognition of this resort with one of the best not only in Germany, but also in Europe. |

JLBG Thu Jul 23, 2009 21:02 UTC This little town is a wealth of wonders! I would not love rococo and baroque at home but for a visit, it is always wonderful. The Alte Stadtapotheke is superb. The fountain is an amazing technological achievement. | hunterV Wed Mar 4, 2009 17:22 UTC It's a great place to visit.... | volopolo Fri Mar 21, 2008 21:18 UTC Great pictures and information | traveldave Wed Jan 9, 2008 14:22 UTC Fussen has some wonderful architecture, and sits in a gorgeous natural setting. |
