Teotihuacan is a famous archaeological site in the Basin of Mexico, not far from Mexico City. It contains well-known largest pyramidal structures built in the pre-Columbian Americas. It's a must for history fans (like me) without doubt.
I was lucky to visit it in January of 2011. In my opinion it's the best time to go there because it's not so hot and there wasn't too many people (it was Teusday).

Oh sweet memories :) I was there approx. 1000 years ago and still can feel the heat when we walked up to the pyramids. These days no raising hands helped to talk to the gods :-) And I still love my small obsedian sculpture.
Privet, Sergey. Great tips and a great video of the El Jaguar restaurant. I enjoy great Mexican food and washing it down with a Corona. Thanks for sharing. Larry

An interesting and informative new page, with excellent photos as always! I didn’t know that obsidian and agave had so many uses.
These pyramides are amazing and some day I hope to be able to see them as well!
