Pineda de Mar - Beach

Pineda de Mar - the resort city located in 57 km from the capital of Catalonia. Spacious beaches and set of an open-air cafe allow to combine successfully pleasure by the sun and the sea with calmness of evening. Amateurs of noisy fun can have a good time in disco "Sky". Convenient and wide promenade is useful for pedestrian walks. It is possible to reach the nearest resort small towns - Calella, Santa Susana on foot. Up to Calella it is possible to reach and on cheerful Steam locomotive which constantly plies between cities. Costa del Maresme, the northern part of the Mediterranean coast in the province of Barcelona, traditionally was a place of fishing and country settlements.

Pineda de Mar - Street

In the middle of the last century there were first residences of rich inhabitants of Barcelona, and also the first hotels for solvent Europeans. For last decades when development of sphere of tourism in Spain has got especially active character, ancient seaside cities have started to turn to the prospering resort centers with a wide network of modern hotels and entertaining complexes. Landscapes of Costa del Maresmeis first of all multikilometer sandy beaches from the silvery sand, washed by azure waves of Mediterranean sea. The soft sea climate of this province surrounded by mountain ridges is remarkable as well.
