Valencia - Centrum
The third on size city of Spain - Valencia is situated in several kilometers from the coast of Mediterranean sea at the coast of the Turija river. The river it is not visible in city however. After flooding 1957 its channel was changed. Gardens have been arranged in an old channel.
Valencia - Plaza de la Virgen - Me
The historical city centre - Barrio del Carmen is on the right bench of the river. There is a Cathedral at the main square Plaza de la Virgen. The belltower is visible from different directions cities. It is named Miguelette.
The construction of a huge glass and concrete complex of City of art and a science (Ciudad de las Artes de las Ciencias) proceeds in the southern part of the city.

 Nice tips and photos! I have never been to Spain, but when I go (some day) Valencia seems to be a great place to visit.
