Having seen enough of architectural and historical sights try to find a minute for dialogue with the nature.
Walk around of the castle and you will see picturesque channels and the Oresund strait. It's the most narrow passage into the Baltic Sea. There is only 4 kilometers to the Swedish coast which is always seen even in bad weather. You'll see ferries and yachts, ships and boats.

lynnehamman Thu Jun 11, 2009 09:24 UTC Your theories on Shakespeare are interesting (if controversial). Holger the Dane sounds like a formidable bloke.Good photos of the castle. That is King James of Scotland. | scottishvisitor Sat Nov 24, 2007 16:18 UTC Nice look down Kronborg history :) I don't recall Scotland having a King Jacob but think you mean James! | JLBG Wed Oct 31, 2007 22:51 UTC Then the kings of Denmark were toll keepers! The princes of Savoie were toll keeper too, for the Alps! Actually toll keeper has always been a good job! | LoriPori Mon Sep 3, 2007 11:48 UTC I love castles and the mighty Kronborg Castle sure impresses. Enjoyed the history of the castle and the story of Holger the Dane. Also thanks Sergey for checking out my Marseille & St. Lucia Estuary pages. |
