"Valley of the Kings in Western Thebes" Necropolis of Thebes by Kuznetsov_Sergey
Necropolis of Thebes Travel Guide: 61 reviews and 196 photos
The most of VTs put their tips and pics about the valley of Kings on Luxor page. It's correct but only partly. The VT database has the separate destination with the name "Necropolis of Thebes". I offer my tips and pics about the Valley of Kings here.
The Necropolis of Thebes is for sure a highlight of Luxor. There are in fact two connected valleys, of which the eastern is the more important. A total of 62 tombs have been given an official number, and there are at least three unnumbered tombs. Not all the numbered tombs belong to kings, some of them were constructed for members of the royal family.

To see such a wonderous place must have been fascinating! Hopefully someday I'll get to see it, but for now I get to see it thru your wonderful travels!
Astounding: I especially enjoyed your picture of the Valley of the Kings. First & foremost, I thank you for embarking on this adventure; secondly, I thank you for posting it on VT.
Thanks Sergey for this interesting page. Also for the video clip, which was informative. That model at the tourist centre seems handy for orientation.

The tomb KV62, a tourist trap because there is not much to see and you have to pay extra. Good work on yr complete Egypt pages.Greetz
Sarah and I loved it here!
Marvellous page, Sergey. I'm unlikely to ever get there, but reading pages like this helps to make up for it!
You must go back!!! Madinet Habu was most impressive, and Tombs of the Artisans were quite amazing. Thanks for stopping by. Momo
Another excellent site about Egypt!
