Sport is one of those things that I am involved in 7 days a week whether it's in a team scenario or out running by myself. I play indoor soccer, indoor cricket, outdoor soccer both Summer 7 Winter, Golf & do quite a bit of running.

Travel Hard and Often

I am a believer in 'giving it death' when it comes to sport and this same attitude is reflected in my travel. I love to put on the back-pack and walk off into an unknown sunset - there's always a place to sleep if you know where to look and a place to wash your smalls.

My Home Town is Lyttelton (Not Lyttleton)

I live in Lyttelton which is in the South Is of New Zealand near Christchurch. Unfortunately VT had the spelling wrong but once highlighted to the man himself, giampiero6, this has since been corrected.

Xmas is Coming

Santa?

Like a bad smell, you just can't get away from Xmas. In December, unlike those Northern locations, we should be enjoying long Summers days, food on the BBQ and lots of day trips to nearby locations. In Lyttelton this means access to many different places and types of trip - from the mountains to the sea with a few rivers and parks in between. I saw on TV (History Channel) that December is historically incorrect for the birth of Jesus (apparently it was April - if it's on TV it must be right, right?) however that's fine by me - means that my Summer holidays include plenty of excuses for the family to get me travel gear.
