A brief taste that left me wanting more...

I had an unexpected opportunity to visit New York for the first time (indeed my first time in the USA at all) a few days after my 50th birthday. It was a very short trip, but thanks to the information I got from the great folks here on VT, it was an experience to remember.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Every neighbourhood has its own feel
Cons:Too much to take in on one short trip!
In a nutshell:As alive and exciting as I had always imagined it to be
