I've stayed in Puerto Vallarta only twice now, both times it was on the way to some other place. The second trip I got a good deal on two weeks in Mexico, and this was the hotel I stayed at. It had a great roof top vantage, and the view was pretty nice. You could enjoy a nice cold beer up there and noone would disturb you. The pair of legs belong to one of the family members who live here, like many places in this country, you share with a family who run the joint.

On my many walks in Puerto Vallarta, I came upon this fella, who was a time-share seller in the area. A very nice guy, but I declined.
And on this day, I asked if I could take his photo, luckily a friend of his happened by, so I got the two of them. Such nice people.

I find the best way to see a place in any kind of detail, is to explore on foot. You'll see much more than you would if you went around by vehicle. That way, you can pop into a church now and then. And the churches in Mexico can be amazing structures. There is a real beaut here in Puerto Vallarta, you'll know it by its crown at the peak.
