A brief stop over on my way through to Thailand

Landing in the Narita airport while our plane filled up on more fuel, I noticed at that time, that the surrounding area was quite dry, all the grasses were browny yellow. (this I understand was unique, as it is aparantly quite green and beautiful) My friend met me for tea in the airport, here I actually had to immigrate while there, this to me seemed funny, as I was only staying for an hour plus. Leaving my friend to get back to my plane, I'm sure that I heard my name being announced, so I was running. Its a large airport, and was surprisingly almost empty of bodies. I managed to get back to my plane with moments to spare. I didn't want to get stuck there, while my pack went on to Thailand for the holiday.
When I made it back to the gates, there was a large line-up, but after I told them that was my flight being announced they all let me go through.
I thanked them, then continued to run as fast as I could, made it back to my seat with heart pounding!!

I'd like to visit this country again, and actually see more than the airport. Some day when I have more time and money, as we've all heard about how expensive Japan is.

Pros and Cons

Pros:I know it's a great place, but I never saw much more than the airport
Cons:You'll need a lot more time than an hour or so.
In a nutshell:Much more than Narita airport!

I heard Japan is very expensive, and like you, would love to see this country I like how you've posted your flying photo's together.
