Located at the southern tip of Zamboanga Peninsula in Mindanao, Zamboanga City is the commercial center at this part of the country that extends up to the Philippines southernmost province of Tawi-tawi.

The city has a big number of Christian residents considering the predominantly Muslim population in the surrounding areas. The people are peace-loving and are proud to show their place despite the wrong impression lately of many people about Zamboanga as an unsafe and risky destination. Visit the place and experience the warmth hospitality of the people of Zamboanga and prove the impression wrong.

The Flower City of the South

Gardens everywhere, be the private home gardens or on public parks are blooming with flowers as if saying "Welcome and have a Nice Stay!"

Touring around the city's main park, Pasonanca, flowering plants in bloom is but a natural sight.

Seafood Festival

Compared to any place in the Philippines, Zamboanga is where you can buy fresh sea catch at very very cheap prices. Fish, crabs, lobsters, shrimps (never miss the "curacha") - you name it, they got it. Thanks to the very rich fishing ground of the Sulu Archipelago wherein Zamboanga City serves as its main fishport.

How do you know I like sea food? The very sight of seafood makes me hungry. Do you eat sea fish at home? We eat mostly fresh water fish at home.
