Welcome to Manila!

Tour of the Fireflies

April 23, 2006 is the 8th Tour of the Fireflies. Now on its 8th year, the 50-km fun bike ride throughout the cities of Metro Manila advocates the use of Bike for traveling around providing a Cleaner Air in this smoke-suffocating metropolis. Bring back the fireflies that were once a plenty in the city's forest parks.

More Pedal Power!!!!

Baywalk, Roxas Blvd.

For tourists on a short stay in the City of Manila, taking a stroll on the well-lit 3-km Baywalk along Roxas Blvd. would give any stranger a general perspective of Manila and its people. This is the favorite place for people from all walks of life to relax and unwind.

Early joggers or just walk-to-sweat promenaders fill the Baywalk on early weekend mornings. Right after watching the beautiful Sunset at Manla Bay, nightlife here becomes very festive considering that the food and entertainment in this stretch is enjoyable for the whole family. Do check it out.

Manila Nightlife is Enjoying a Live Band

The music scene in the Philippines, particularly Metro Manila is very alive - from pop to R&B to rock to folk to reggae and more. Nothing could be more of a confirmation than the hundreds of music bars around the metropolis with live bands playing nightly. Be the budding rock band trying to make a name of its own or the sing-with-them band playing cover versions and anything in between.

Recommended places would be 70's Bistro, Conspiracy, Mayric's, Hobbit's House and Xaymaca. Also do check every hotel's bar/lounge, there should be one.

Christmas Time is nearing!!! Pasko! Pasko! Pasko na naman muli!
