Ruedesheim am schoenen Rhein is a popular tourist trap, but a quaint little village none-the-less. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can sample the local food and local wines. Not far from Ruedesheim, you can find Schloss Johannisburg where they claim to have invented the Spaetlese and the Eiswein. I love Eiswein!
At the moment, there is a Christmas Market in Ruedesheim and you can see these Nikolauses everywhere in the village. Of course, you won't be seeing me there anymore because I was there a few weeks ago. So, maybe some other place, some other time we might meet ....???
