This was my first trip to the Grand Cayman, my first trip to the Caribbean. And what a trip it was !!! I had never seen water so turquoise and so beautiful in my life. I had also never before come so close to a hurricane, WILMA decided to almost pay us a visit while I was there ... what an experience. Grand Cayman is a great place to visit if you have a friend there who is willing to share his bed or at least his apartment with you and feed you - otherwise, you will need lots and lots of dollars, US and Cayman ... because it´s certainly an expensive place. It was an unforgettable two weeks for me, I still dream of waves, palm trees, mudslides, sunsets, and the full moon!
