Didn't get to spend a lot of time in Chinatown, my goal was to find Jack Kerouac alley, after a long search and several times having to ask directions, I found it. I would definitely spend more time in this area next time I go to San Francisco.

Every trip to San Fran has to include a stop at the Wharf, it borders on tourist trap but has a lot of neat restaurants and stops. There are shops, however I wouldn't classify them as neat, they are the reason the Wharf is borderline tourist trap. Every other storefront is a Souvenier shop peddling post cards to digital cameras. Some must sees and can't miss include Boudin bread factory, kind of neat seeing the bread floating on a conveyer belt abover your heads. Hyde St Pier has a lot of neat ships, and doesn't cost anything unless you want to go on the boats. There is a Maritime museum that is also free but we didn't have time to go to it. The wharf gives some neat views of the Golden Gate Bridge if it isn't covered in Fog.

Coit Tower: Up Up Up and Away

Coit Tower offers the most beautiful views of the city on the bay. Make sure to bus somewhere close and walk the rest of the way, with only about 30 parking places there were cars backed up all the way to the bottom of Telegraph Hill each waiting for a spot to open.

Muir Woods was beautiful, a short drive north of San Fran is home to some of the largest trees in the world. It is amazing to see these trees up close and in person. We were short on time so did not get to check out the many trails available. We stuck to the main trail the entire time.
