Herne Bay is a lovely little seaside resort situated on the East Coast. It really is one of England's best kept secret. It has a beautiful promenade with wonderful floral displays, clocktower and colourful beachuts lining the shores not to mention the beachside cafe's and bars.

We stayed here for one night as we were due to board a Cruise from Dover the next day. It is within easy driving distance of Dover and was a really nice start to our holiday.
