So much to do... so little time My very first solo trip abroad was to Malaga - it will always remain a favourite of mine. I was travelling on a budget so booked into a hostel in the city centre & arranged a flight direct from Cardiff.
To say I was pleasantly surprised with my chosen destination would be an understatement there is so much to do in Malaga. The main photo shows the Alcazaba, a short distance from this (uphill) is the Gibralfaro Castle which provides fantastic views of the port, beaches & Malaga's own bullring. The other sights & attractions in Malaga itself are the Picasso Museum, Cathedral, wonderful shopping streets and the port area & beaches. |

| | Shopping Malaga is great for shopping. The main shopping street - Calle de marques de larios has a variety of shops from the very exclusive & pricey to nice & affordable. The alleyways & sidestreets leading from the main street contain shops & restaurants galore - you could walk, shop & eat for hours around the charming backstreets. |

| Pros: | "Full of History, Art & lots of sunshine" | | Cons: | "Very little english spoken in Malaga itself - take a good phrasebook with you!!" | | In A Nutshell: | "My favourite Costa" |
