Vale of Glamorgan Travel Guide: 25 reviews and 157 photos

The Vale of Glamorgan is situated just 20 minutes away from the centre of Cardiff. It is situated along the South coast of Wales and boast some of the most Picturesque villages in the region.

The stunning Geology of the Heritage Coastline sweeps along the coast here providing a haven for walkers and those who crave unspoilt coastal scenery.

You'll find oodles of History in the Vale. The Neolithic Burial Chambers of Tinkingswood and St Lythams can be found here. There are also Castles at Ogmore and Beaupre and St Quentins near Cowbridge

The main shopping town in the Vale is Cowbridge. This pretty little market town has lots of historic buildings, the remains of a town wall and much more. It really is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
