Amsterdam, one of the most liberal cities on earth, is a place with endless sights and fabulous entertainment. For people looking for history, there is an immese amount to be seen and experienced here. Boating down the canals or visiting the Rijksmuseum offers up a sample of the deep rooted traditions that are in place here. For others who wish to observe, and partake in, a way of life that in many other places is considered alternative, the Red Light District and the coffee shops are definite must see's here. There is something for everyone here, as I quickly found out during my short visit here.
