One of the things we wanted to do was visit Graceland. It was interesting, but very crowded. My favorite parts of the tour was the Jungle Room, the Sincerely Elvis museum ~ where Elvis & Priscilla's wedding attire is ~ and the Lisa Marie airplane. |
| | High tea at the Peabody We had blackberry tea, finger sandwiches, and pastries. It was a relaxing experience. This was my first experience with a high tea. It's something I've always wanted to do. |
Beale ST. We ate dinner at the King's Palace and enjoyed some Memphis style barbeque. Of course, I'm a Kansas City girl at heart, so my loyalties lie with Kansas City barbeque. That said, we polished off all of the ribs. Walked around Beale St. for a bit before finding our way into Pig with Attitude, where there was a live band. We enjoyed the music for about an hour or so, and the fried peach pie was excellent. | | |

Will never forget him! | globetrott Wed Sep 12, 2007 15:59 UTC Elvis & Graceland - why not, I like many of his songs but not his lifestyle and attitudes...
