When you visit the tower at the top of the Stratosphere, there are webcams for the world to see. Call a friend, have them go to the website, and take a screen shot. Turned out a lot better than the pictures they take and try to sell to you. Plus it's free! You do have to pay admission to go up the tower, plus we paid to ride one of the rides. PLEASE NOTE: THE WEBCAMS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE!

This ride would be considered really tame on the ground. However, on top of the Stratosphere tower it scared the devil out of me. The scariest part was watching the gate lower and having the arm start to outstretch you over the side. Once it started it took all my concentration not to get sick because you're essentially just spinning around. We did it in the morning and it was a great way to wake up, and it also feels cooler at the top of the tower with all the wind. It was a great break from the heat.

The Bellagio is magnificent. The breakfast buffet is great, and if you get there early, there's no line. And as an added bonus, usually no one is in the conversatory. What an amazing place to sip your morning coffee and wake up. It's a good time for photo ops, too, because no one is standing in your way. The Bellagio updates the decor seasonally, so if you've already seen it, chances are, it'll be different when you go back. It just smells so good in this room.

This is a nice family show, if that's what you're in the market for. I've seen it twice, with different people. It was probably one time to many, as it's not a real thick plot. But for the money, you get a nice enough meal and some lighthearted entertainment. There were very young children in the audience and it's completely appropriate for that age level. It also has audience participation.

We renewed our vows with Elvis Presley at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. They did an excellent job, from the limo to the King himself. Loved it, it was very romantic, and then my brother surprised his wife by having them renew their vows.

lohki Fri Nov 2, 2007 22:48 UTC Hey I stayed at the Paris.... where is your favourite hidden washroom??? I can't wait to go back to VEGAS BABY! | RafaelTheSecond Thu Oct 18, 2007 20:53 UTC It seems that we never know what to do in Vegas, if we stay in the hotel or if we go outside, both things are really fun! CHEERS FROM RIO DE JANEIRO!;) | TheTravelSlut Mon Aug 6, 2007 22:58 UTC Excellent tips & photos. I'll have to try the IceBar. I did the original in Stockholm yesterday and it was awesome! (even though it was 23 degrees F). Ann, The Travel Slut | gkitzmil Fri Jul 28, 2006 21:22 UTC Good page! Great comments on the hotels. Though I did not stay at the Trop I actually found the employees in the lounges and common areas to be helpful. |
