Freiburg's Old Town - Freiburg im Breisgau

A Quick Stop

After saying goodbye to Don and Ingrid in Bacharach, we made our way south to the Black Forest city of Freiburg. The primary purpose of our 2-night stay was to rest, re-supply, and do laundry before heading to Lake Constance and Switzerland. But while we were here, we were able to enjoy the surroundings, take in a few good meals, and even witness a huge celebration after Germany's victory in a World Cup match (though Minifrosch was none too thrilled with the latter--no doubt he was still smarting from Team USA's loss to Ghana).
