Trubsee is a very beautiful place to stop and enjoy the mountain views. There are a number of walking paths to wander around, examine the flowers, and forget your troubles for awhile. There are also possibilities to bike to and around Trubsee. Please be sure to remain on the walking or biking paths to avoid damaging the flowers and landscape.

A good hike, especially early in the season when the trail to Trubsee is closed, is the hike to Untertrubsee. The hike begins behind the Titlis Rotair lift station to the left. Follow the path up for about an hour of moderate hiking until you reach the Restaurant Untertrubsee. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or wander around the area, commune with the cows, and take in the scenery. From Untertrubsee, you can either walk to Gerschnialp gondola station (turn left at the restaurant), or take a small gondola from Untertrubsee to Obertrubsee (turn right at the restaurant).
