My Favorite Hotel in Switzerland and other Kandersteg, Switzerland Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

How else to describe it? It's a professional, family-run, friendly, romantic, scenic hotel in one of the most picturesque and conveniently located villages in the Swiss Alps. Single rooms are of modest size but have all of the comforts. Double rooms range from spacious to enormous, with double sinks, full tubs, and balconies with jaw-dropping views. I doubt you'll regret a stay here.

- Magnificent views, especially on the "Blümlisalp" side

- Excellent restaurant open for dinner -- half-board available if desired

- Huge buffet breakfast with the best coffee in Switzerland

- Free parking (but why would you drive? ;)

Exit the train station, traveling straight into town until you reach Hauptstrasse. Turn left, and it's about 150 meters down the street on your left.

I absolutely love the Bernerhof. However, I'm sure someone out there won't like it for some reason. Not to worry. There are a few other choices for accommodation. Stop by the tourist office, and they'll help you get a room.
