A Brief Stop

Our coastal steamer had an early morning call at Hammerfest, the northernmost incorporated town. We did not disembark, but were able to get some very nice photos.

This church has a very unique structure. I would have loved to visit it if we had enough time.

Water, mountains, and boat

The views from Hammerfest harbor are also quite striking. The snow-capped mountains and sea make for excellent photos, as you can see.

I was looking at your Hammerfest page and I want to make you happy. I have a lot of photos on my page, from all the churches in the city. And some (good) tips too. If you don't like them- you can go back easily :)

Many years ago, I was invited to Hammerfest by a girl that lived there. It was like a day and a half each way by train, so I never went. Looks like a nice place.
