    • A little group of houses surrounds the old mill on the road to Tranderup. There are two commemorative stones: one marking the return of Ærø to Denmark, and another honoring a pioneer from the U.S. state of Washington. There is also a bench that is known as the "Peace Bench."

     Lovely page...especially liked the honour system tip and the 'cows'. Not sure really what difference it makes whether you are Danish or a tourist when it comes to the accomodation. Anyway thanks for sharing...
