Brick Oven, Bantry The Brick Oven in Bantry town is a bistro setting serving superb sea food with their speciality of in house made pizza. From my expierence bookings are only necessary on Sunday lunch time, and bank holidays, etc. |
Luigi Malones, Emmet Place City/ Set directly across from the Opera house behind St. Patrick's St. it is one of the larger establishments in Cork but bookings are advised not necessary). A mixture of moroccan chicken, crab cakes, delicious BBQ ribs. Do not miss out on dessert and make it in for lunch time andyou will recieve a glass of wine with your meal. They do great cocktails. A good location for stag/ hen night dinners and family eating with a childrens menu. |
Scoozies Cork city/ Shamrock Bar, County Whintrop Ave, near Brown Thomas shop. Always a long line waiting but it moves fast. Booking advised at weekends and even lunch hour most days. However I never had a booking but have seen people waiting happily 40 mins for a table. Italian food with very tempting deserts. Popular.
Shamrock Bar, Dunmanway; Great option in Dunmanway. Fresh food served from breakfast through lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced. The old pub side got a mention in Pete Mc Carhty's book. A safe option even if lunch time was 2 hours ago... |
