Port Vila is the largest town on the major island of the group and international tourists fly in here. The welcome at the airport is memorable - a local group singing island songs as you line up for Customs. Of course Customs is an un-airconditioned building and can take a couple of hours depending on the mood of the officials! |
|  | Port Vila Market The market is right in the centre of town and has an amazing array of unusual vegetables and fruit. Flowers are brilliantly colured and there are also many souvenirs for sale. |
| | Dinner with a view The restaurant at the edge of the lagoon ( i will find name later) has wonderful sunset views and delicoius food as well as inviting cocktails. |
