Looking down the High Street from the Church

I don’t want to insult any local residents but I have to say I found Sutton Coldfield a rather unremarkable and unwelcoming place. Admittedly I was only there for one day and it was a cold wet day in December so I probably didn’t see the town at its best. I should perhaps go back during the Summer and explore a little further afield as there seems to be a lot of parkland nearby.

My visit was with a group of friends for an annual get together and as such we spent much of our time in pubs. So my tips will be mainly along that theme, which will not come as a big surprise to regular readers of my UK pages.

I’ll let you know if I do go back, and will update the page.
