Martha's Vineyard--a quaint island off the coast of Massachusetts--is made of up 6 separate towns, the largest and most visited being Edgartown, Vineyard Haven (aka Tisbury), and Oak Bluffs.

The entire island is just 100 square miles, and the year-round population 15,000. But there is a lot to see and do, and a lot of places to simply relax.

Oak Bluffs is picturesque--looking exactly as you might imagine a New England seaport town to look like. Popular for both day trips and extended visits, Oak Bluffs is thick with inns, ice cream shops, seafood restaurants, boats, gorgeous spans of beach, bike rental shops, and even some nightlife.
