Tulum is a quaint 'village' in the Yucatan about an hour south of Cancun. It hasn't yet been fully monopolized by the tourist industry...they have no McDonalds! (this is a good thing) If you're looking for all the comforts of American life, Tulum is not the place to visit. If you're adventuresome, low maintenance and love mexican beaches, this is your place! |
| | Our House We stayed at a cute little bungalow with guest house in the center of town. Our group was a massive TEN people, and we fit pretty comfortably inside.
Note: Even though things went pretty smoothly, I'd avoid traveling with 10 people in the future. |
| | The Beach!! Because of Wilma, the beaches were pretty wiped out, but El Paraiso was up and running. We spent nearly every day next to the white sand and turquoise waters. |
