OLD TOWN - place of prahistoric civilisations

On this place first was prahistoric setlment. After that in Anthic age was town Zanes. And New Town was found in 5th centery. it was buried in 1502 by Hungaries. But 1524, it is rebuilt.

Lots of windes bring here lots of civilisations. Prahistoric man in "Lepenski vir"; Roman`s builder leave here bridge, roudes...

And in 20th sencery industrial gigant is erected. Hydro electric power plant "Djerdap". This big dam change the way of live in this little town.

Some occupations, like "LOC", disappeared. Loc is a man who is navigates ships through canyon. Danube is the narrowist here. And there are lots of underwater rocks. So, loc is aman who know where was safe to pass. But when the big dam was finished, water level is raised, and there is no more need for loces.

Djerdap is the largest composite gorge in Europe which consists of a few narrow parts and a few wider parts.

Beach

There is a great beach here in the town, if you dont mind swiming in the river.

Izvanredne strane za Kladovo. Secanja na ovo mesto uvek su najlepsa- nisam bio citavih 17 godina. Secam se da je Dunav na Djerdapu/centrali izgleda velicanstveno. Kako je samo ukroten . Lep pozdrav iz Makedonije i ziva bila. Aleksandar
