I only visited Canberra on a day trip from Sydney to visit the war memorial and it wasnt worth doing, Because the distance between Sydney and Canberra was far to long to travel just for a day. So if you intend visiting the War memorial have atleast a few days to sight see Canberra. And even then it is advisable not to drive into Canberra and better to see the sights on the Canberra Explorer bus since the complicated layout of the city makes finding your way around most difficult. |

Travelling much of these areas is so much easier by car - places are typically far apart - we saw some lovely sites and around Canberra because we had a car. | pattypoo Thu Jun 12, 2008 21:32 UTC
Yes they are Deb, but my cousin was on the war memorial wall and i took a pic for my cousin who didnt know her brothers name was on there sad really...thanks for visiting .. |
