Stayed at the Elite for 4 nights from 22nd Feb. booked this as a package with Jet2 and you get what you pay for, a good basic hotel ideally placed for all areas, close to the metro and tram system.
On arrival we found the staff very helpful and accommodating in our requests, checking in was easy but you do need to leave a credit card details in case of extra costs, so was no hardship, Bedrooms were simple in design, free safe, ask at reception if it is locked and they will reset it for you. Plenty of hot water well designed bathroom, bedding fresh and clean, heating available. Fresh towels changed each day, mini bar stocked if needed, but you are next door to the main Tesco supermarket if you need water, drinks etc.
Morning breakfast plenty of seating, and a good choice of hot and cold food, mainly the same each day but enough to fill you.
Lounge area on a night was nice and relaxed to return to for a beer and cocktails after being out all day open to 12:00am normal hotel prices.
Reception were very helpful in directing you to known points of interest, restaurants etc. Tram metro tickets can be brought just 20 yards away at the tabac on the corner. All day ticket cost 110 kc, each well worth it.
Overall for the staff and the location would recommend this hotel to family and friends to use as a base in Prague and for its location.
The hotel is based in the lesser quarter and was ideal for a base, trams outside up to the castle and into the centre are just outside the door, plus restaurants and cafes, either side.
There has being comments before on the quality of the rooms i.e. on the top floor, but you get what you pay for, so either book with a quality web site or direct with the hotel, we were on the 2nd floor, the room was large airy, full size bathroom, all clean and well presented, plenty of plugs, mini bar, hair dryer etc.
Electric operated by a key card used for the door as well, but fine with an old credit card when popping out for a short time, Staff were very friendly all spoke to you, and were willing to help in any small way.
Breakfast was the normal fare for this type of hotel but plenty of choice to put you over, The breakfast area was never full and tables cleaned and reset straight away, which was a good sign. No evening food but there is plenty of choice outside.
Overall recommend this hotel for a short break, good as a base with links to all parts of Prague, and a short walk across the bridge to the centre. 10 minutes to Charles Bridge.
Restaurants and bars were up to a half in price then the main centre but do your homework,

Booked for 4 nights, with being a small hotel was worried of over booking, but there were no concerns all paperwork was waiting and the room ready, plus I like it when you pay at the end of your visit, We had a large room 60Sq. metres on the top floor with views of 3 sides of the hotel,
The Room was set out as an open suite with bedroom, sitting area and bathroom, plus lots of space for cloths etc. plenty of hot water and heating. Breakfast was basic but more than enough for choice, There is an evening restaurant but not used as it closes at 8. Small bar area again not used.
Reception was very helpful, plenty of information etc.
Only a short walk away from bars, and cafes and restaurants but be watchful of the prices they charge, found some little gems in the area so do your homework, 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and other sights,
Overall a cheerful experience and will use again and recommend this little gem of a hotel to friends and family.
Unique Qualities: the peace and quiet but close to restaraunts and bars etc.
