"Nurburgring trips." Sinzig by halfbeat

I have stayed in Sinzig 3 times now as a base for visiting the Nurburgring.
It's a good location for that, not too far away, but far enough for the car to be nice and warm when you reach the track.
The town is lovely, everything you need there for a good stay. Some shops, a couple of good restaurants, and an excellent friendly guest house that has plenty of room to park the cars. Oh, and found an excellent takeaway pizza place last time i was there!!
If like me, you get up early while the rest of your group are still snoring away merrily, it's a nice town to have a walk round first thing in the day. The forest is only just outside the town too, so that's nice for a walk around early in the morning. Sat in one of the watchtowers on the edge of the forest for a while and saw a wild Boar, and some deer wandering around.
People seemed friendly, and were very tolerent of my limited knowledge of the German language.... i did try though:)
I hope to go back again soon.
