Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is a beautiful red tower, recognisable by its Victorian-Gothic style. It has an old tidal gauge mechanism on the bottom floor, used to check tide levels. On the second floor is a mirror room, which was used by the Port Captain to overview the harbour.

Nelson Mandela's cell
The only way to get here is to buy a ticket at the Nelson Mandela Gateway. You then get on the ferry and on the island you are loaded on the bus. First they take you around the island, telling about its long history as a leper colony and prison. After that you visit the high security prison, the guides are all ex-prisoners, which is very impressive. Of course they take you by Nelson Mandela's cell, but they also show you where he hid his first book and what life was like in this prison.

Sunset on Table Mountain
You should only go up Table Mountain when it isn't covered by its tablecloth - a cloud covering the top of the mountain. Apparently this happens quite often, but I was lucky enough to have a clear day and sunset on the top of Table Mountain. The views are amazing, just be carefull not to fall off, this happens often to uncareful tourists...

Nice beach outside of Cape Town, on the way to the cape. You can have a cold dip in the Atlantic Ocean there.
Address: Fish Hoek
Penguin love
This is the beach where all the penguins come ashore to nest. You can pay the entrance fee to get on the beach, or just go on the walking trail and also see penguins right next to the trail. They are really cute to watch, jumping over rocks and greeting each other.
Address: Boulders Beach
Cape of Good Hope
There is not much to it, a sign saying you've reached it...
Two Oceans
You can take a cable car up to a viewing point where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean meet. There's also a restaurant and gift shop there and you can walk all the way out to Cape Point. Be careful of the baboons!
This is an amazing aquarium! It is huge and it has a lot of tanks especially for eduacation. Their predator tank with the raggies is awesome, I could have stared at it for hours. I also liked that you could go outside and come back in on the same ticket.
Address: Waterfront
