    • In between the sun, sea, surf and - you know the rest! - it's a sobering experience to take the five-minute flight to Tinian, which in the last few months of WWII was the busiest airbase in the world. Visit the A-bomb pit, where the atomic bombs were loaded for the flights to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and pause to contemplate the awfulness of war.
