Food Alley at the bottom of Wangfujing Dajie: Souvenir shopping

This area (which is mainly known for it's food,) also has many souvenir stalls in the main alley and the side alleys.

Remember to haggle hard.

There are over 100 photography equipment shops: Photography Equipment City

The complex is over 2 floors, and there are over 100 individual shops here.

Goods range from new camera's and equipment in general, to 2nd hand camera and lens shops, all manner or other photography equipment.

I was taken here by my guide for the day and he helped me locate what I wanted. This was a huge bonus as most store keepers have only rudimentary english skills.

I got the zoom lens I was after for 1/2 the price it was costing in Australia, so I was totally stoked.

What to pay: Less than you home country.

Directions: Take the subway to Wukesong, Exit to the North East of the Wukesong intersection, Walk 1km to the north (east side of the 4th ring road)

This street has everything. All the top brands, middle of the road, food, tourist shops, yes it' all here.

Its a busy street, pedestrian in the most important part, and great fun.
