GO TO THE REEF WITH CRUISE WHITSUNDAYS

This is a great day out.

You board the seaflight and cruise 100 miles to the reef.

At the reef you dock at the reef pontoon which has a water slide, glass bottom boat and semi submergible vessel. The snorkeling is good with wet suits and gear provided free of charge. If you want you can scuba dive (for a fee of course), you can go as a certified diver or on an introductory dive.

All food is provided (drinks extra)

Lunch is wonderful and morning and afternoon tea is also provided.

The Camira is in front - Airlie Beach

The Camira is in front

SAIL ON THE CAMIRA

The Camira is an 85ft catamaran, one of the worlds fastest sailing cats.

Included in the day is snorkeling at hook island, world famous Whitehaven beach, and a fantastic BBQ lunch. That goes with morning and afternoon tea and all drinks.

The snorkeling at hook island is awesome (probably better than at the reef platform), the water is certainly clearer.

Whitehaven Beach is wonderful and the highlight of the trip.

Snorkeling gear and wetsuits are provided free of charge.

Ya well - Airlie Beach

Ya well

Crocodile Safari

They run a Crocodile Safari from Airlie Beach.

You get picked up and taken to Procerpine, where you have a Bush BBQ (very enjoyable), get taken round the wetlands(if there are any at the time) on a wildlife observation which is interesting. and Then you board a river boat for the Crocodile safari.

This is interesting, fun and informitive. and the meal was great as well.

You see Crocs in their native habitat. The crocs all have names, and are identifiable. You get to be told the behaviour of each individual, and see them natuarally.

If you are there at the right time of year, you get to see groups of hatchlings as well - closely guarded by mother.

The Croc's are all named by the guides who give you a run down on each individul.

Directions: This tour can be booked from any tourist office/agency in Airlie Beach

The Lagoon - Airlie Beach

The Lagoon

THE LAGOON

The recently constructed shore based lagoon at Airlie Beach is great.

There are lifesavers there during the day.

It is large, great for people of all ages and kids. Everyone swims here and not at the beach.

Food shops, restaurants, beachware stores, pubs hostels are all adjacent.

Hey guess what - ITS FREE
