Brunei's capitol

by stevemt - last update: Oct 13, 2008

Brunei's capitol is an interesting city.

Origionally (way back) it was just what is now the water village. Even the sultan lived there, untill the countrys wealth started to grow with the discovery of oil, then he built his current palace and moved. The city also grew into what it is today.

Those mosques look really nice - its a pity they don't let tourists in. Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai is one of the few in the world that allows non-Muslims in at specific times on tours. Gillybob greetings
