If you want to go somewhere to chill, unwind and forget about modern day life .. go to Goa! Just a week in this place and you will feel brand new. Its not such a hidden gem as it was 10 years ago but still has a magical charm you have to experience for yourself. The culture, the people, the food .. ohhh the food is just amazing!! You can visit one of the many deserted beaches along the coast and lap up some sun, visit acient churches dotted about the various buzzing towns, or catch up with the monkeys at Dudshar waterfalls... the only hard bit is making a choice!

The food here is nothing short of amazing!

I can't remember the last time I eat so much! Every meal was just ..mouth - watering, you can eat in a shack on the beach, a restuarnt on any of the main streets, a local restuarant... anywhere ... the food is just divine, and theres so much choice, no matter what they cook - indian, mexican, italian, chinese.. it was all sooo good. Venture out, eat with the locals, try something new, the traditional dish in Goa is fish curry... superb.

I cant put my finger on it... and I dont know what it is.. maybe its the smell of jossticks when you pass somewhere... maybe its the crunch of the sand under your feet on the beach, it could even be the smiles, the joy on the locals faces when you stop by and say hello.... theres just 'something' about Goa that makes you want to stay forever. Its a warm magical place, you can feel the portugese historical presence, you can smell the asian delights when you enter a place to eat, you can feel the ocean breeze on the many sandy beaches... and everything mixed together makes it just... magical.
