Every Israeli says Tel Aviv is everything Jerusalem is not.
It is also called the Big Orange, a play on words of New York's nickname. It is full of nightclubs, trendy (non-Kosher) restaurants, hotels, and lively beaches. Even though many of the city's buildings are slightly rundown, there still exist some fine examples of early 20th century architecture. |
