U.K's Second City

It’s often said that Manchester is the second city after London even though its not biggest city, it has so much going on for it. The city has culture, excellent transport links for industry and the best for music bands like Oasis, in spiral carpets and New Order.
During world war two the city was heavily bombed and as consequence the city has had many a make over rivalling London on style The city was Bombed again in 1996 by the IRA and again the city undertook a renovation and now hold pride of place as the city that rose from the ashes.
