San Juan, Capital of Puerto Rico, is known like "The City Walled", is the oldest city under the flag U.S. In 1508 Juan Ponce De León, founded the original establishment, Caparra, al western of the present metropolitan area. The city was built in an islet there for the year of 1521 by Juan Ponce de Leon. The place that today Old San is called Juan was the personal vision of Ponce of Lion. He helped to design the city, he supervised the construction of their massive walls and he determined what structures they should be built and where. It situated in an easily defensible isthmuses, the Old one San Juan is defended for two fortresses: THE Nose and Hardly San Christopher.
