Sydney Hotel Tips by mprice14

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel, which is really clean and smart. Everything modern, the staff always helpful, and its definately worth the extra money to pay for a view of the harbour.

Unfortunately the positioning of the hotel isnt the best. If you are on the back you look at other buildings but on the front, especially if you can a corner suite you get huge windows showing off the whole harbour

This hostel was my home for 2 months. The staff are really helpful, especially if you have just arrived in the city. Theres a tour desk where they can give you advice and help on any tours you are thinking of doing.

If you are looking for work theres a job board and you're opposite the central train station so nowhere is difficult to get to; the hostel is also happy to take on guests as staff as well.

The rooms and always clean and modern with your own locker. All rooms are locked with a key card that must also be used for the lift and to get in to the building and with a 24 hour reception security is very high.

There is a big tv room and although the kitchen is bit small if you choose the right time to use it there shouldn't be any problems.

Below the hostel is the Side Bar, open til 2am always full of other guests a great place to meet up with people and the food isnt bad in there if your in early enough.
