We never left the airport in Addis Ababa, cause we did not have money to buy a visa, and they did not have any ATM's. We spent a whole day there, waiting for our plain to Frankfurt. A man told us we could pay with credit card in the restaurant, but that was not true. When the bill came, we gave the waiter some money in different currecies and two packages of cigarettes. We offered him some books, too, but he said it was OK. When the Lufthansa people finally arrived their office, we upgraded our ticket to business class, and were able to eat a lot of snacks and drink a lot of coke in the business class lounge! And we had a pleasant flight, right behind the swedish crown princess and her staff :-)
