Hi I'm Alan... I live in Worcester, UK and have done all my life. But don’t let that put you off, I travel all over the UK in my job and I believe that may give me some (varied) opinions of our great country.
I love to travel and get a huge buzz from it..."it's not just the arriving, it's the getting there as well!!!". I'm always planning my next getaway; some people may say it's an obsession. I say it's a passion. |

|  | Lets Get Out There!!! So many places to go..... I've travelled a little so far and as for the UK some of my favourite or memorable places are: Inverness, a lovely place that's very underrated. Beautiful scenery, and one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to (Tiramisu 10/10!!!). Glasgow, just tops. Newcastle, energetic. Liverpool, one of the friendliest places in UK. Chester, lovely. Lincoln, got character. Birmingham, my office is here, but it's a brilliant city...go there. Cheltenham, just down the road from me. Cardiff, a great weekend away place. Plymouth, historic Naval stuff. London, the Capital gotta be included. Malvern, I love this place, 9 miles from me... Elgar Country, what Hills, what views and free Malvern Mineral Water just pouring out the hills... really!!! A fantastic theatre too. |

MAPS AND WEATHER WeatherbonkA really useful "mash-up" site (combines features of several web sites on one site.) This one has maps from Google maps, weather reports and stats, traffic and live webcams. Maps Live From Microsoft, this mapping site has an excellent "birds-eye" view photography feature. Great for finding things like the exact entrance to the Hotel car-park you'll be using. I even use this for work! Google Earth Download the interactive software to enable an amazing satellite/photo mapping tool. Clickable community features are endless, route mapping is easy and the photography is outstanding. CURRENCY EXCHANGEXE.com Convert currencies from the world over. Travel Money from MSE A Great site from MSE again... this will trawl the net to locate which company will offer you the best exchange rate.
